The Wineyared goes back into the time about 1800. Three
brothers are still active today in the family business. The Weingut is
led byboth of the wine-grower masters Georg and Walter Hehner. The production
of
high-value wine is uppermost goal. An extensive possession, 23ha, the
largest part in the well known vineyards of the Nahe area, are the base
of the wine.
Schloßböckelheimer Königsfels,Felsenberg
und Kupfergrube; Meddersheimer Rheingrafenberg Monzinger Frühlingsplätzchen
are vinted already since generation and have wine friends in all world.
In the cellar you find both, old oak barrels, for the high-value Rieslingwines
and the clarets, and most modern steelbarrels, for easy lively white-
and rose wine whether an easy summer wine, rich steep situation Riesling
or a Burgundy. The classic varities at the Nahe Riesling, Silvaner and
Rivaner place the head share of the assortment. Weißburgunder, Grauburgunder,
Bacchus and Gewürztraminer supplement the offer.
Relatively new in the offer are Spätburgunder, Portugieser and Dornfelder
as a red or rose wine.
